Background Information

The founder was born and raised in the Republic of Mali in West Africa, where she experienced first hand what it feels like being an orphan in that part of the world.  Later, she attended college in Russia, and her life adventure took her to the United States.  Her dream to help Malian orphans, led her to earning an MBA in Non Profit Organization Management from the George Washington University, and founding A Child For All-ACFA.  The organization incorporated in 2008, opened ACFA-Mali orphanage in Jun 2010, and currently cares for 10 children, providing extra classroom hours, in addition to basketball, Taekwondo, and dramatic arts classes.

A Mali where all children are protected, safe, healthy, well-nourished, provided a home and an outstanding education that will allow them to be productive and contribute to the social and economic development of the country.

Mission

To bring hope to Mali's Vulnerable Children by securing for them a brighter future through the delivery of our programs: nutritious food, health care, safe shelter and education.

Goal

Our current goals are two folds:

Short Term Goal: WELCOME 4 MORE CHILDREN IN 2011, AND HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS

We've been caring for the children since June 2010.  Unfortunately, our current home can only accomodate about a dozen of children.  We are continuing changing lives by providing in class instructions at the public school, extra curricular instructions, English classes, Basketball, Taekwondo, and Dramatic Arts classes.      

Long Term Goal: BUILD A BIGGER PLACE TO CARE FOR UP TO 100 ORPHANS

We need sponsors to help us build on our own piece of land, a facility that will accomodate up to 100 children, as well as medical, school and sports facilities.
