2008: 

1.  First Fund Raising Dinner: Takoma Park, Maryland

We held our first Fund Raising Dinner In September 2008, in Maryland.

We thank our constituents for their support. You have made a difference in the lives of Malian orphans!!!!

2.  2009: In Jun 2009, our board secretary, Aissata Traore, graduated from High School.  She requested that donations be made to ACFA in lieu of graduation present.  Thanks to this event ACFA received over $1,500 in donations.  Thank you all for your support. 

3.  2009: 2nd Annual Fund Raising Dinner: Our second Fun Raising Dinner was held at Vision Restaurant on 13 Dec 2009.

 4.  In 2010 we conducted two campaigns with Globalgiving.  The first campaign was a 30% matching campaign on 17 Mar 2010 and we raised over $1,000.  The second campaign was a 50% matching campaign with Globalgiving and we raised over $4,000.  We are truly appreciative of all of our supporters.
